CAFC's purpose is to promote and support the conservation and preservation of fish and all types of marine wildlife. We will promote, support, and sponsor our member's interest in fishing through education and general sportsmanship camaraderie. We will promote a friendly and harmonious relationship among all fishermen, and to encourage their participation in the protection and preservation of fish and marine wildlife. Additionally, we will sponsor, carry out, promote, conduct and supervise fishing tournaments, contests and sports events, relating to fish and marine wildlife, sponsored by this organization or in cooperation with any other approved organization.

CAFC will:

•gather fisherman & families of fisherman in the COASTAL NC area that would love to learn more about improving their saltwater fishing knowledge

•access the many people in our local area who are very willing and excited to have an opportunity to share know-how and skills in saltwater fishing

•provide members with a monthly meeting which offers:

•afford members the opportunity to meet new people that share a common interest.

•promote teaching of specific fishing skills & methods which targets various species of fish during their peak seasons. This shall be done through separate workshop meetings & having guest speakers at the regular monthly meetings

•embrace and promote conservation techniques, current fishing regulations, and safety will be covered in the same manner during the year.
